ALMOND MILK

3/4 c almonds (or cashews), blanched lightly

1 T minced dates or 2 T honey

1/4 c sesame seeds

5 cups water

1 t vanilla

Place almonds, dates, sesame seeds and a small amount of water in blender. Whiz until completely blended. Add remaining water and vanilla. Strain in cheesecloth-lined sieve-squeezing out remaining milk from cheesecloth. Chill before serving.
