CAROB PIE FILLING

1 c water

1/2 c cashews

1 t vanilla

1/4 t salt

1 c water

15 dates

3 T cornstarch

3 T carob powder

Blend first 4 ingredients and continue to blend while adding the remaining ingredients, adding dates one at a time. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly till thick. Slice bananas in baked pie crust and pour filling over them. Chill.
