FRUIT SPREADS

1/2 c ground raisins
1/2 c chopped dates
1 T juice
1/4 c chopped nuts
dash of salt
1/2 c water
(2)
1 c shredded raw apples
1/4 c raisins
1/4 c chopped dates
1/4 c water
dash of salt
1/4 c orange juice
1 T grated orange rind
(3)
2 c shredded raw apple
1/2 c apple juice concentrate
1/4 c chopped nuts
dash of salt
For all spreads: Combine, simmer until softened and thick enough to spread. For Spread # 2, add orange juice and rind after cooked.
